    The Abbey of Boulaur, nestled in the valleys of the Gers countryside, depended at its origins on the famous abbey of Fontevraud.

    Today, it is the Cistercian nuns who keep the place alive. The demanding work of the small farm nevertheless leaves them time to celebrate God through song. The works performed by the nuns on this CD are dynamic and explore a wide range of registers.

    An Ave Maria by Vitoria, a Baroque Cantate Domino, a Breton canticle, music by Berthier and Duruflé, among others, give us a glimpse of a rich palette.
