Saint Brigitte of Sweden (1303-1373), commonly known as the "Mystic of the North", known above all thanks to the Fifteen Oraisons revealed by Our Lord, a booklet distributed in hundreds of thousands of copies, is a personality both singular and famous. Favoured by celestial revelations, she was called upon to play an eminent role both with the popes and with the political leaders of Sweden and Europe.
A member of the Swedish nobility, she was an exemplary wife and mother, before becoming the founder of a religious order that is now widespread in several countries.
