Saint Guy medal in silver-plated metal. A fancy pendant of the highest quality, made by our company.
In the 9th century, miracles performed during the transfer of Saint Guy's relics from Saint-Denis in France to Saxony led to the development of the cult of Saint Guy, protector of epileptics and chorea sufferers. Strangely enough, these patients suffered from a variety of disorders that became more pronounced as the feast of St. Guy approached, and they would then go on pilgrimage to one or other of the churches dedicated to them, where they would dance in order, in theory, to free themselves of their anguish and ailment.
