Called the Virgin of the Poor, Our Lady of Banneux is a Holy Virgin who appeared to Mariette Beco in Banneux, Belgium. During her appearances, she said to Mariette “I have come to relieve suffering”. This phrase is inscribed on the back of the medal, next to the image of the chapel built in his honor. The front of the medal represents the appearance of the Virgin Mary to little Mariette.
