Fiat Rosary

The FIAT rosary is fully in line with the call made by John Paul II in his Apostolic Letter The Rosary of the Virgin Mary, where he emphasizes how the prayer of the rosary helps us to contemplate the face of Christ and to conform to Him by meditating with Mary on the mysteries of his life. He reminds us that Mary is not the Way - it is Christ! - but it shows us the Way. The FIAT rosary is both classic and new. It allows us to meditate on the main mysteries of the Rosary every day, and underlines the evangelical aspect of the prayer of the Rosary. He wants to encourage family prayer and contribute to a new evangelization. It is an invitation to walk step by step through a spiritual journey in which we are led to a better understanding - and if necessary, a rediscovery - of our Christian identity, the first condition for all evangelization; in the introductory prayer, we ask the Holy Spirit to help us pray and act in fidelity to our baptism. Cardinal Danneels recommended this rosary: May this little FIAT rosary find its way into the families so that they may become so many Cenacles of apostles, gathered around the Virgin Mary, to receive the Spirit of Pentecost.
